Hellebores are some of our favorite plants here at Behmerwald. They start to bloom in the late winter/early spring and continue until mid spring. The foliage is evergreen and resistant to deer and rabbit damage. Once establish it will form a nice colony. Its not native but still deserves a place in shady gardens.'Sandy Shores' bears 2½-3”, single pale apricot flowers with a lovely rosy pink color on the backs.
