Spectacular deep blue purple blooms with soft purple inner petal make quite a statement on this hardy perennial. Easy to grow and adaptable to most conditions.Blooms occur from late May to late June. They have a smaller more delicate flower than the bearded varieties but do not loose any of the wow factor. Blooms will emerge from deep green grass like foliage. This perennial prefers moist well drained soils but is tolerant of dry sites. Likes full sun to part shade.
