An improvement over the species with longer lasting flowers and more golden fall color. Steele blue flowers emerge in spring against green foliage. Fall brings golden yellow color accented by the red hued stems. A wonderful 3 season plant that is great for borders or anywhere you want a shrubby look without the shrub!
