Aristolochia macrophylla (previously named Aristolochia durior) is a climbing vine native to Eastern North America. This plant has glossy, deep green, heart-shaped foliage and unusual yellowish-green and brownish-purple flowers. It is commonly called the Dutchman's Pipe because the flowers resemble Dutch smoking pipes. This is a great choice if you would like a dense cover for sun porches, verandas, pillars, posts, trellises, arbors, fences or walls. Tolerant of black walnut.
