Grows slightly taller than wide, unlike most weeping lace-leaf Japanese maples, with the most orange foliage, especially in the fall when the red-orange leaves turn to the color of a Valencia orange.  This tree gives a lacy, soft appearance to the landscape, with an arching habit.
