'Red October' as the name suggests produces fantastic fall color. Fall brings deep reds to the grass blades that can't be missed! This grass will add fantastic color to your garden or landscape right when your flowers blooms are fading for the year. Big Bluestem is a warm season grass that quickly reached its height of 4 foot then adding additional 2 or 3 feet of height when the blooms emerge in mid to late summer. Many leave the grass up in the winter as the seed heads will feed the birds. 

Great in mass or as a single specimen!
