This native tree produces an interesting fruit that is often described as being similar to a banana and mango crossed together. Everyone needs one in their landscape, its just fun to say the name! Can be grown as a smaller multi stem shrub or single stem tree 10-40' tall. It is also larval host plant for the Zebra Swallowtail butterfly!
