A late season bloomer that provides you small lavender flowers with yellow centers. Although the flowers are smaller this is a heavy blooming perennial so you won't be lacking on color! A great addition to get flowers when many other plants are starting to go dormant. Growing shorter than typical of the species 'Jindai' usually doesn't require staking to stay upright. During spring and summer the foliage is spectacular large green leaves that will eventually give rise to stalks with smaller leaves that hold the flowers. A nice late season nectar source for pollinators. This can spread easily in the right conditions but it can be divided to help control spread if desired. Grows to about 3-4 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide and likes well drained soil. Deer resistant.
