Can be grown as a perennial or in a container. A small, cool season grass only getting to 12-16 inches tall and 16-18 inches wide. Eye catching variegated gold and green foliage keeps its bright color throughout summer. Flowers bloom in spring and are a nice coffee color. Prefers full sun to part shade and moist, well drained soil. It will tolerate dry areas. Cut back in early spring.
