A medium sized weeping tree that has graceful branching that arches toward the ground. Nice heart shaped leaves emerge purplish then are blue-green throughout summer then end with good yellow sometimes orangish fall color. Grows in full sun to part shade but would appreciate some afternoon shade. Likes moist well drained soil and requires a lot of water when young. Fallen leaves are said to have a sweet smell, some say cotton candy like.
