American Filbert or Hazelnut is a nice rounded multistem shrub. This plant has both male and female flowers so it will self pollinate. The female flowers will mature into 1/2" edible nuts. Whatever you choose to not harvest will be enjoyed by the birds and other wildlife. Terrific fall colors- varying from orange, rose, purple, red, to yellow. Grows to 10-16' feet tall and 8-13' wide
