A herbaceous ground cover that spreads by stolons. Toothed foliage typical of strawberries with white flowers with yellow centers in spring. Produces edible fruit after flowering.Fruit will attract wildlife such as birds while the flowers attract pollinators. Wild strawberry is also a larval host for the Grizzled Skipper. Grows well in full sun to part shade and gets about 3 to 10 inches tall. May go dormant in extremely hot summer weather. Deer resistant.
