A unique late blooming perennial that has dark blue violet tubular flowers that do not open. Thought to only be pollinated by bumblebees because of the flowers not opening. A low growing late season bloomer. Getting to be only 1-2 ft tall and 1-2 ft wide this Gentian prefers part shade in moist well drained soils.
