A large fern that gets its common name from the big feathery fronds. This fern is hard to miss growing 3-6 feet tall and 5-8 feet wide! A wonderful addition to shade woodland gardens. Commonly growing in wet woodland areas this fern doesn't mind consistent moisture. Best in full to part shade, doesn't like hot humid conditions. Spreads by rhizomes and can make a nice colony if conditions are favorable.
