'Hino Crimson' produces bright red flowers that cover that small glossy foliage in spring. This is a more compact azalea, typically wider than it is tall.

Azaleas produce a heavy flush of flowers in the spring. Being evergreen they make a nice foundation plant. Easy to grow in part shade in evenly moist acidic soils. They take well to pruning so they can be kept at a smaller size if desired. Best pruned right after bloom.
