Great tall native perennial that can handle all sorts of conditions.

Often found along railroad tracks and in dry open areas. It can spread somewhat aggressivly if grown in rich fertile soils and not deadheaded in a timely fashion.

Can work very well to naturalize an area or in a meadow setting.

the height can range from as short as 2' (if cut back) all the way up to 8'.
