A native small tree or large shrub that produces copious amounts of white flowers in spring that will eventually turn to red fruit in late summer/early fall. Great for wildlife with the nectar supply and fruit but it is also a larval host plant. This plant tends to sucker and tends to be good for hedge rows or erosion control areas.
