This viburnum is reported to have intoxicating spring fragrance like other Korean Spice viburnums but on a compact plant. Blooms are clusters of soft white flowers that bloom in the spring. Pollinators will enjoy the flowers. Only grows to 5 feet tall and wide. It is deer resistant and drought tolerant. It prefers full sun to part shade.  Produces Berries when planted with another Viburnum carlesi.
