A tall perennial that bears a range of dark purple, violet, to lavender colored flowers. The large tubular flowers are loved by hummingbirds and butterflies. Dislikes too much heat and humidity so it is usually best with some afternoon shade. Prefers rich moist well drained soils. Deer and rabbits don't eat Tall Larkspur.
