Native perennial iris blooms with bluish-purple flowers in the spring/early summer. The flowers are large and extremely showy. 

It thrives in medium to wet soils and is an excellent choice for rain gardens and around ponds. This Iris will spread by rhizomes to form sizable clumps. The clumps can easily be divided.
