Grown for both the foliage and the flowers this woodland plant is a stunning addition to your shade garden. Foliage is a medium green with thick, coarsely toothed, lobed leaves. The leaves are reminiscent of maple leaves. Drooping yellow flowers will bloom in late summer in clusters of 3-5 flowers.Blooms are followed by a fascinating '3 horned' seed capsule, that is a must see.

This plant prefers moist, rich soils, typically of its natural woodland habitat. More shade is best in hot and humid summers.
