This perennial is a more compact version of its native parent, growing to approximately 2-3' tall. The flowers are single to double approximately 2-3" wide. Makes a nice cut flower since it has good stiff stems that also rarely need staking in the garden.

A tall native perennial that is well suited for prairies and naturalized areas. 2-3 inch ray flowers with brown centers attract pollinators while the seeds in fall bring the song birds.

Perennial Plant of the Year 2015 Hardy geranium that forms a loose mat of aromatic foliage. The flowers are white with a pink throat and very pale. This geranium blooms in the early summer with sporadic blooms after the heavy flush is finished. 

Sweet woodruff makes a nice groundcover in full to part shade. The foliage has all sorts of uses such as in tea, wine and even in perfume. Grows to 6-12" tall. It can spread aggressively so keep an eye on it. Black walnut tolerant.

An easily grown evergreen - semi evergreen plant in dry sunny areas. Blue green foliage adds a nice touch of color amongst the greens in the garden.

The Dixie Wood Fern is characterized as a clumping fern with short creeping rhizomes, and a bipinnate, glossy, lanceolate, upright arching frond. It is a naturally-occuring hybrid between D. celsa and D. ludoviciana.

This plant produces dainty blue flowers similar to forget me nots. Forms a nice ground cover over time. Grows 12-18" tall in part sun

Easy to grow perennial which can make a nice different ground cover. Produces thick glossy leaves that are attractive all growing season. Spring brings a flush of vibrant pink blooms produced in clusters on stalks above the foliage.

Solidago rugosa, commonly called rough goldenrod, rough-stemmed goldenrod or wrinkle-leaved goldenrod, is a native plant that has bright yellow flowers in late summer to fall (August to October). This plant is very attractive to bees and butterflies.  

A towering grass that produces blue-green summer color and beautiful pink flowers. It grows in a nice upright clump that would make a good screen. This is a good substitute for the invasive miscanthus grass!

Lupinus Russell Mix is a hybrid Lupine mix that was developed by English gardener George Russell in the early 1900s. Hybrid flower colors include shades of blue, purple, violet, yellow, pink, red, white, and bicolors.

Kismet 'Pink Lemonade' has long-lasting blooms that are an attractive pink with lemonade colored tips. Bloom time is from June to October. Great for cut flower arrangements, mixed beds, and border edges. Attracts pollinators.
