This summer bloomer produces very showy white five petaled flowers and will typically bloom for several months! A low growing semi woody plant with nice glossy leaves. In fall the leaves will turn a fantastic red when in full sun.

Flowers are attractive to pollinators such as different butterflies and bees. This species also supports specialized bees Andrena ziziaeformis and Panurginus potentillae.

Native to dry rocky outcrops and is often seen growing in rock crevices. Its low growing form would make a nice ground cover option. It can be divided to prevent crowding or to use in other areas of the garden.
