Bright, bold blooms that can range from any combination on red, orange, and yellow. This species is often used as a parent of many Hybrid deciduous azaleas!

This species in naturally found in the Appalachian Mountains throughout the woods. This azalea will prefer part shade, especially afternoon shade or dappled shade and consistent moisture. This is especially important in our hot summers. The key is to have good moisture but the soil needs to be well draining or root rot can occur.
