A native shrub that produces white berries that often persist into winter, unless the birds get to them first!   

Although the flowers are small the pollinators love them! They are also a larval host plant for hummingbird moth caterpillars.

It is an easy to grow shrub that is often found on dry rocky slopes in full sun. It spreads easily by rhizomes to naturalize areas.
