A tried a true Tiarella! 'Elizabeth Oliver' has been around for a while now and is still a favorite among plant people. It has very showy flowering with white and pink bottle brush blooms that rise high above the gorgeous foliage in spring. Deeply lobed thick green leaves with maroon streaking at the centers add color and texture to shade and woodland gardens. The evergreen foliage is generally not liked by deer but they will browse it if nothing else is available. This Tiarella spread slowly to form a nice clump of evergreen foliage usually about 12 inches wide. Best in dappled shade but handles deep shade very well.
