Emperor One is cultivar of Japanese Maple that is similar to the popular Bloodgood cultivar but better! The leaf color is more vibrant and it holds its leaf color better through the summer. It also emerges a little later in the spring so it's less likely to get damaged by a frost.

This tree is best grown with some afternoon shade, especially if good moisture is unavailable.
