Underused small native that grows 15-25 feet tall and 12-20 feet wide. Works best as an under-story tree. One of best ornamental features is the distinctive white striped bark. Another common name is Whistlewood because whistles can be easily carved from the branches. It is a larval host plant for the Imperial Moth.
