This is an extremely easy to grow perennial with tricolor foliage and blue flowers on 6" spikes. Because of its spreading habit, it makes a good ground cover. It can handle foot traffic, and mowing, and is super hardy. It can spread easily to the point of growing into lawns and taking over spaces.
