A cute little sunflower only growing to about 3 feet tall. Beautiful golden yellow blooms arise from thin green leaved foliage. This perennial is a nice addition for stunning late season color blooming in late summer. From spring to early summer it will be a nice little shrub showing off its willow like foliage. This plant prefers full sun and well drained soils. Once established it is drought tolerant. It has good pollinator and wildlife interest. Birds will come get the seeds so its best to not cut them back till the spring.
