A tall native perennial that is well suited for prairies and naturalized areas. 2-3 inch ray flowers with brown/orange centers attract pollinators, even some specialized bees while the seeds in fall bring the song birds. Typically blooming from July to August it is an earlier bloomer than other 'Sunflowers' (Helianthus and Heliopsis) False Sunflower grows best in full sun and pretty much any soil as long as it's well drained. Plants can be divided if needed.
