A great choice for sunny, hard to plant areas. Adapts to almost any soil as long as it is well drained. Easily suckers so it is good for erosion control areas and mass planting borders. Has a dense mounding habit that gets 3-5 feet tall and 6-7 feet wide. Produces small yellow flowers in April that the pollinators will love, and in fall red berries are produced for the birds! Beautiful shades of red fall color. Deer resistant with aromatic foliage.
