Classic bract flower on this Kousa Dogwood. A smaller tree that provides beautiful blooms in spring and red berries in fall that the birds will enjoy. Blooms from May to June. Dark green foliage in the summer that fades into stunning reddish purple in fall. Prefers part shade. Grows to about 15-30 feet tall and wide. Has a medium water need and likes well drained soils. Deer tolerant. Resistant to many of the pests and diseases that affect C. florida.
