Native late fall blooming trouble free large shrub/small tree. This is the last plant to bloom in the fall, starting in October and continuing into December. Blooms are yellow with thin whimsical petals. 

A good pollen and nectar source for pollinators to get their last bit of food. Witch Hazel mostly pollinated by nocturid moths. 

Naturally found in moist woodlands and is unmistakable when taking an early winter walk.
