This small to medium sized tree (20-40') is underused. The flowers are small but really cool if looked at. The leaves emerge reddish purple in the spring, fade to green and then shine in the fall with yellows, reds, and orange colors. Nice winter interest

A very large tree getting to 75-100 feet tall and wide with a trunk size getting up to 8 foot diameter. Most notable feather is the exfoliating bark that exposes white.
