A small small Japanese maple with a changing display of color throughout the growing season. Leaves emerge bright yellow/green then mature into a nice light green in summer and finally end the season with gold, red, and orange fall color. Only reaching 4-6 feet in 10 years this compact maple is a great addition to any sized landscape. A nice dense layered branching habit adds an attractive cascading look to the garden. Grows well in full sun to part shade but in the summer heat wouldn't mind having some afternoon shade.
