Really beautiful bright pink flowers backed by dark green glossy foliage make for a stunning plant. Hardy to most soils and has a good salt tolerance.Blooms will be from May to July and you can remove spent blooms to encourage more. However by removing spend blooms you will not get as many hips which are good for wildlife and can be made into jams. This shrub can adapt to most soils but keep it out of the wet. It will grow to be about 4-6 feet tall and the same width. Will spread by root suckers. Birds and pollinators both enjoy this deciduous shrub.
