Bringing together two of the native serviceberries to create not only an ornamental specimen but also functional for wildlife! Beautiful slightly fragrant flowers emerge in early spring before the leaves. Pollinators will visit the flowers which will then bring you the edible blue/black berries in June. The berries are quite good if you can get your hands on them before the birds scoop them up! Fall brings you brilliant reds and oranges. This is a single stemmed variety but serviceberry tends to sucker so you will typically have to remove them every once in a while to maintain the trunk.
