Nice nativar that has terrific large leaves and nice white flowers on strong stems. The flowers fade to pink as they age. It has a long bloom time from summer to fall. The leaves are dark, coarse, and deeply lobed. The fall color is a beautiful deep maroon red. The bark exfoliates from a tan to a cinnamon red.

Although it can handle a decent amount of sun it is typically best in part shade. It can get leaf scorch with too much sun and not enouogh moisture.
