Our favorite dwarf form of this great native plant. Nice upright flowers flowers. Grows 3-4' tall and wide
A great little option to have an oak leaf hydrangea in a smaller yard. It has beautiful large panicle white flowers with a long bloom time. The blooms start out white and then fade into pink in the fall. The foliage is really beautiful. It has dark, deeply lobed foliage that is thick and coarse. The fall color is a deep maroon color. The bark is exfoliating from a tan to a cinnamon color.
Although it can handle a good amount of sun it is typically best in part shade. It can get sun scorched with too much sun and not enough moisture.
