A nativar Wisteria that is smaller and less aggressive than the invasive Asian variety. Although smaller it does not loose any of the beauty. Showy racemes of purple lavender flowers bloom late spring into early summer.
Native from the south the central US this cold hardy wisteria is not as aggressive as the Asian species but still grows with good vigor. Large foot long racemes of lavender blue flowers adorn this vine starting around June.
Leggy stems are produced to hold attractive green foliage and the small clusters of burgundy flowers with yellow centers. A smaller shrub getting to only about 3 feet tall.
