Small tidy clumps of silvery blue blades make this sedge a nice addition to the garden that will fit and grow in most spots. A great choice for bed borders, along walkways, or planting in mass.

This carex has consistently pure white edges on dark green foliage. Forms a very neat arching mound of foliage. Looks great in containers or in the garden. Grows to 12" in shade to part shade.

Can be grown as a perennial or in a container. A small, cool season grass only getting to 8-18 inches tall and 12-16 inches wide. Eye catching variegated gold and green foliage keeps its bright color throughout summer.

This native sedge is easy to grow and forms a ground cover in full to part shade, unlike many other sedges that prefer moist to wet soils Carex pensylvanica like dry to average moisture soils.

Nice bold powder blue green leaves that are 1" or more wide. Nice different texture ground-cover. Can handle dry shade once established. Prefers full to part shade. Grows to 8-12" tall and up to 18" wide.

A nice low growing sedge that produces narrow light green foliage. Common name comes from the star shaped inflorescence that are quite attractive. 

A fantastic sedge for rain gardens, stream bank restoration, or wet meadows. This species loves water, even shallow standing water. The bright green foliage is narrow and forms clumps (hence the common name tussocks).

Carex woodii, or Woods Sedge, is a native sedge with blue-green foliage early in the season, which turns rich green as the plant matures.
