Underused medium size tree native to our area. Really nice yellow color. Cool white panicles of flowers when it flowers but that is not every year, generally 2-3 times per decade. When it does flower it is a bee magnet! They love the fragrant flowers for their nectar.

Yellow colors will make a nice contrast against most of the darker green foliage in this area. Grows to about 30-50 feet tall and 40-55 feet wide making it a nice shade tree for smaller yards. It prefers full sun and medium moisture in well drained soils.
