Low groundcover that is tough. Armitage, the man who wrote the book on perennials, calls the species "one of the finest ground covers available" Foliage is a changing mix of lime green, golden yellow, orange, and red. With the fall color being spectacular! Yellow flowers bloom in late summer and add to the show.

Best in part shade locations, the foliage can scorch a bit in too much sun without adequate moisture. It spreads by stolons to create a full ground cover but not to the point of being really aggressive.
